My Story

The outlaw in a family of engineers, the eternal love for Math pushed me towards Chartered Accountancy. Most of my youth revolved around sport with Basketball proving pivotal in developing values, discipline and a fierce competitive spirit (I hate losing!)

How I got into investment banking?

Investment Banking and IndigoEdge was something that almost happened overnight. 6 years on, it remains one of the best decisions I’ve made.

My inspirations

Sir Alex Ferguson, one of the biggest names in Football once said,” The experience of defeat, or more particularly the manner in which a leader reacts to it, is an essential part of what makes a winner.”

His drive to win coupled with an unmatched level of discipline is an inspiration to any professional.

My focus/interest

India has led a massive revolution in Financial Services over the last few years, across payments, lending and overall financial inclusion. We await more disruption through technology in the coming decade and are very excited to see what founders have in store for us.

Enterprise SaaS, Logistics and Consumer Tech are other focus sectors, with the dynamic macro environment post Covid creating the need for innovation backed by sound business fundamentals.

What excites me?

The opportunity to work with the most ambitious founders and talented teams, who are on course to leaving behind a legacy.

Cooling off

Apart from the mainstream sports (Basketball and Football), adventure sports like surfing and mountaineering keep me going. A compelling need for travel helps maintain necessary balance.
